SUBURBIA
What: Photo Series
This photography project revolves around capturing the ordinary aspects of Merewether’s suburbia and highlighting how these seemingly mundane elements contribute to its beauty. I explore the geometric and organic shapes that can be found on every home, challenging the perception of uniformity and sameness often associated with suburbia.I find street photography to be captivating because it not only captures the physical spaces people occupy but also conveys authentic, unplanned moments in time. Unlike staged, street photography offers imperfect representations of life, showcasing the reality that many individuals experience in suburbia, which is often considered the norm by a significant portion of the global population.
